aesPlla - Collagen Stimulator

aesPlla is a poly-L-lactic acid (PLLA) collagen stimulator, asPella helps restore the deep, underlying structure of the skin to diminish facial wrinkles and add volume.

aesPlla works with your body within the Dermis to help revitalize and stimulate collagen production and help restore your skin's inner structure and volume. When injected into the skin aesPlla triggers the production of collagen, a protein that helps maintain skin structure and firmness. Over time, as collagen levels increase, the skin gradually becomes smoother, firmer, and more volumized, reducing the appearance of wrinkles, folds, and hollowed areas. This gradual process results in natural-looking and long-lasting rejuvenation, with effects lasting up to three years.

FAQs

How does aesPlla® work?

aesPlla® is a volumiser made of poly-L-lactic acid that stimulates the body to produce new collagen, replacing the natural volume loss that occurs with age. aesPlla® works gradually, resulting in a more youthful looking appearance without making it look like you have had work done.

How many aesPlla® treatments are recommended for optimal results?

This depends on individual patient needs, but on average patients need 3~4 treatment sessions, each 4 weeks apart.

Are the results from aesPlla® immediate?

No. Unlike other dermal fillers, aesPlla® provides a gradual improvement of the depressed area over several weeks as the
treatment effects occur. During the initial treatment session with aesPlla®, a contour defect should be under-corrected,
not fully-corrected or over-corrected. It may seem that your treatment worked immediately because of swelling caused by injection and the water used to dilute aesPlla®.

What side effects can I expect and how long will they last?

As with most injectables, common side effects are tenderness, pain, redness, itching, bruising and/ or swelling are sometimes reported. These are normal side effects from the result of an injection. After the injection session, an ice pack (avoiding any direct contact of the ice with the skin) should be applied to the treatment area in order to reduce swelling and/or bruising.
The majority of these resolve without treatment, within a few days.

How long will the results from aesPlla® last?

aesPlla® is the only facial injectable that can last up to 3 years.

What is the aftercare?

Massage for 5 minutes, 5 times a day, for 5 days: This is necessary to distribute the product evenly to increase the
effectiveness of the product. Even if it may be slightly uncomfortable to massage the area for the first couple of days, it is still necessary. The easiest time to massage is when the face is moistened with a cleanser or moisturizer, and in the shower.
Avoid Excessive Sun and Heat: Until any initial swelling and redness has resolved. This includes aggressive exercise.

Can you have aesPlla® if you’ve had other dermal fillers?
